“ So glad that Kapow is here with a lot of my favs. Definitely come by and get some of their amazing food, cook to order, fresh and delicious. If you have allergies they can accommodate you with some items as well. ”

“ I had the chance to speak to Kook, one of the owners about Kapow and of course try their food! If you didn’t know, Kapow has actually been around for a long time, but turned key in September. Since then, Kook and her husband have been running the show. I had the chance to try three different dishes, the pad see ew, red curry, and the tom yum fried rice. All three of these dishes were delicious, and I will definitely be going back again! I had the pad see ew with beef and the curry with chicken. I found the pad see ew very familiar coming from a Vietnamese background. The noodles were nice and chewy and paired perfectly with the beef. The red curry was actually too spicy for me at first, and they were so nice to take it back and dilute it for me. It is served with a bowl of white rice. I found the curry similar to Indian curry. It was quite spicy and very delicious. I had the chance to try the tom yum fried rice as well. I had it with chicken and the dish comes with chicken in the fried rice as well as topped with a fried chicken cutlet. The rice has a nice sour taste, like if you squeezed lime right on top of it. I also had their Thai tea. It was like I expected, sweet and creamy. I’ll definitely be coming back to try all of their dishes. While you may be inclined to order take out from Kapow, please consider dining in! And if you have any feedback, Kook is always willing to hear you out. ”

“ Was visiting my friend and got a chance to try this small family owned restaurant. The food was fresh , authentic and very delicious. Northern style curry noodle . Borned in Thailand and raised in Boston. I really liked this dish and every bite did not disappointed me at all. It seemed to be my favorite dish for the cold weather. It is a must die for . Will be definitely coming back when I visit Boston . ”

“ They are so so so nice! We come here all the time with our 6 year old. They are so good at accommodating her nut allergy. Plus the food is absolutely delicious. My favorite green curry ever. And their northern Thai curry is the best comfort food. ”

“ I got the Kua Kai, which I LOVED as it is flavorful but felt very light on the stomach. My husband got the Chicken Pad Thai which he hated, as it was sweet and had a very strong smoky flavor—tasted nothing like any Pad Thai either of us have ever had. The restaurant is small but cozy, and well lit & maintained. There's minimal seating, and most people just get it carry-out, but because of that it was a lovely quiet place for my husband & I to eat dinner together. The seating is by the window at the storefront and around the corner from the door--so we weren't getting heavily blasted by cold air every time someone came in. I came back for the Kua Kai not too long after taking this photo (this time as Takeaway) and my husband got the Kapow Fried Rice, which was good but spicy in a way that builds quicker than you think it would. Very yummy though. ”

“ The Pad Thai was really good and the portion was quite big. The shrimp were large, the noodles were soft and chewy, and the price was cheap. The Sai Ua was delicious. The Nam Prik Noom fried rice tasted great and smelled amazing from the wok. The place feels warm and cozy, and the staff were super friendly with great service. ”

“ i love this place so much i'm so excited for the mango sticky rice to come back! ”

- Sasha Jewel -

“ Great Thai food with generous portions. Everything tastes fresh and well balanced, not overly sweet or oily. You definitely don’t leave hungry. Solid place with quality cooking — worth coming back. ”
